The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience as a steward or dishwasher and be able to work a varied schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous hotel and restaurant experience is a plus.

A Utility Steward is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware, contributing to outstanding guest service and hotel profitability.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 - $20.00.

Responsibilities:

1. Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
2. Scrub pots and pans.
3. Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish silverware.
4. Stock and maintain supplies and equipment.
5. Perform cleaning duties including mopping and trash removal.
6. Transport and store clean serviceware.
7. Train other stewards as needed.
8. Prepare and arrange clean serviceware for events and functions.
