ChargeScape, based in Austin, TX, seeks a Utility Program Analyst to support daily utility programs, incentives tracking, and Excel-based reporting. This hands-on role requires independent work style in a fast-moving startup, with potential growth toward Account Manager and broader commercial duties within 6–12 months.
You will analyze operational data in Excel, field inquiries from utilities and OEMs, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with product, analytics, and operations teams to meet
EV adoption continues to grow, but our power grid was not built to withstand this level of electricity demand, and charging remains a major challenge for drivers. ChargeScape is a joint venture of some of the world's largest automakers focused on making charging cheaper and simpler for EV drivers. We work with Tesla, Rivian, Stellantis, Ford, Honda, Nissan and BMW, and continue to onboard new automakers onto our platform.
ChargeScape's software platform serves as the connective tissue between EV drivers and power utilities, using cloud-based commands to schedule EV charging for the most grid-friendly, low-carbon hours, all while putting money back in drivers' wallets. Our team combines expertise in energy, transportation, and cutting-edge technology to create impactful solutions for our utility and automotive partners.

The Utility Program Analyst will support the day-to-day operation of ChargeScape's utility programs, sitting at the intersection of program coordination, customer support, incentive tracking, and Excel-based reporting.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving startup environment: the right person is comfortable working independently, managing a high volume of requests, and building practical workarounds when systems or processes are incomplete.
This is not a data science role; the analysis is operational and practical rather than highly technical. EV-specific knowledge is not required and can be taught on the job. The role has a clear growth path toward Account Manager and broader commercial operations responsibilities within 6-12 months.
Experience in program coordination, program analysis, operations, or customer support within a B2B environment, along with working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, basic reporting and reconciliation). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings and next steps clearly to customers, utilities, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
A self-sufficient, proactive working style: someone who raises issues early, builds practical solutions when tools or processes are imperfect, and manages competing priorities without close supervision. Comfort with ambiguity, changing priorities, and startup pace. Utility or energy industry experience, exposure to rebate or incentive programs, and familiarity with EV charging or transportation electrification are valuable but not required.
Join us in shaping the future of EV charging and sustainable energy. Apply today!
