Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a plant worker to support safe, efficient operations across quarry and plant facilities. You will perform grounds upkeep, assist in maintenance work, and operate small mobile equipment as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, about two years in the aggregate industry, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Benefits include union medical, dental, vision, pension, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
• Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment (man reach, telehandler, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
