Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Rougemont, NC, is seeking a dedicated Utility Person to support daily production at our facility. You will operate and maintain equipment, perform general labor tasks, and assist with inspections to help meet safety and quality goals.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow procedures, and strong teamwork in a busy plant environment. We offer $22.50 per hour, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and comprehensive benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
