Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc. is seeking candidates to perform general labouring duties on a Utility Road Construction Crew in Alabama. Responsibilities include shoveling, raking, traffic control, material handling, setting forms, and concrete pours, with emphasis on safety and housekeeping.

Prior construction experience is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly and pass required physicals; reliable attendance is essential. EOE/affirmative action.”

Will perform a wide range of general labouring duties on a Utility Road Construction Crew including but not limited to: shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, strips and cleans concrete forms, pours concrete, shovels, vibrates, and maintains good housekeeping and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication
• Prior construction experience preferred
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
