Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator/Maintenance to support production operations at our Fort Carson site. You will operate a range of equipment, conduct inspections, perform light maintenance, and ensure safety and environmental protocols are followed.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with haul trucks, bobcats and forklifts, plus electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic maintenance knowledge. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light equipment safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and identify malfunctions.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and attend safety meetings.
• Report safety incidents promptly and follow environmental regulations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair
• Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performanceof duties.
• Work is inspected daily for safety and economy in operation.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Will perform light maintenance on all equipment and tools
• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with properprocedures.
• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these
  behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experienceoperating a haul truck, bobcat and forklift Experience in light maintenance to include electrical,pneumatic, hydraulic systems.

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
