Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Utility Operator/Maintenance to support production in Daniels/Solberg, CO. You will operate heavy and light equipment and perform routine inspections to ensure smooth operations.

You will conduct preventive maintenance and assist with light repairs, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and participating in safety meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience operating haul trucks, bobcats and forklifts.
• Experience in light maintenance including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; identify malfunctions and repair needs.
• Follow supervisor directions and standard procedures for duties.
• Maintain safety, economy, and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Attend safety toolbox talks and employee meetings/events.
• Report near misses or incidents promptly per procedures.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations and policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair
• Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performanceof duties.
• Work is inspected daily for safety and economy in operation.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Will perform light maintenance on all equipment and tools
• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with properprocedures.
• Adheres to all environmental and safety regulations
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these
  behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experienceoperating a haul truck, bobcat and forklift Experience in light maintenance to include electrical,pneumatic, hydraulic systems.

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
