Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced production environment in Saint Elmo, AL. You will operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer, perform groundwork, monitor utility systems, and troubleshoot equipment issues while following safety policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and maintaining site cleanliness. Experience with utility systems and mechanical aptitude is preferred; on-the-job training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
