Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or hands-on manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions; good math and measurement skills.
• Experience with measuring tools and inspection processes; ability to maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment including lathes, mills, saws, and tape cutters
• Set up workpieces using clamps, wrenches, and fixtures
• Manufacture parts based on work orders and blueprints
• Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and drills
• Complete documentation for each job
• Inspect parts during production
• Package finished parts and maintain accurate counts
• Cross train on additional machines and processes
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication
• Keep work area organized and follow safety rules
• Support team members and assist with training

• Ability to work independently with low error rates
• Strong communication with supervisors on priorities
• Adaptability to changing production needs

• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions

Education and Experience

Work Environment

• Shop environment, not climate controlled
• Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and outdoor temperatures
• PPE may be required
• Possible contact with chemicals

Compensation and Shift

• $20.50 per hr
• Shift Schedule: 1:30PM – 10:00PM – 2nd Shift (possible OT available)
