Job summary

Valmet is seeking a self-driven Utility Operator in Clarks Summit, PA to join our manufacturing team. You will repair and rebuild mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry and balance a strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

As a Utility Operator at Valmet, you will work to repair and rebuild mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry. Having a strong mechanical aptitude will ensure success for this position.

Primary Duties Will Include
  • Operate mechanical grinding, drilling, and balancing machines.
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment.
  • Record parts and materials used as well as prepare time and production records as required.
  • Read blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
  • This is a second shift position with a starting pay rate of $28.39
