Job summary

Cj-Bio-America-Inc is seeking a Utility Operator to operate and monitor plant utility equipment, perform audits, and support maintenance and energy efficiency projects. The role requires flexibility for variable shifts including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

The candidate should have a degree in a related field or equivalent experience and be capable of data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional communication to coordinate with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years related experience acceptable.
• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment (compressor, chiller, cooling tower, water treatment, steam accumulator, gas regulator).
• Perform audits and analysis of equipment.
• Create or revise SOPs and schedule maintenance.
• Collect water samples and test pH, hardness and conductivity.
• Support energy efficiency and plant improvements.
