Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Highlands, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform and improve maintenance on blow molding and injection molding equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

You will implement preventive maintenance procedures, assist in changeovers, repair parts, and participate in equipment installations and modifications, with training provided. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• A minimum of three years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer & Airveyor preferred.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge with troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for blow molding and injection molding equipment to assure uninterrupted and optimal operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and expand expertise through training and new equipment projects.
