Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions is hiring a Utility Manager to lead utility coordination on major hyperscale data center projects. You will identify conflicts, coordinate with utility owners, manage permit requirements, support relocations and protection, and ensure compliance across the project lifecycle.

Strong communication and field coordination are essential. Join a team delivering complex infrastructure with a single-source, Super GC delivery model.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility coordination, utility construction, underground utilities, civil construction, infrastructure development, permitting, engineering, or related field.
• Experience coordinating permits, utility approvals, access agreements, easements, or relocation activities is preferred.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting utility plans and civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility coordination efforts throughout all project phases.
• Identify, track, and mitigate utility conflicts that may impact construction.
• Coordinate with utility owners, municipalities, permitting agencies, engineers, and project teams.
• Support utility permitting, protection planning, and access requirements.
• Maintain visibility into existing utility infrastructure and project impacts.
• Promote safe excavation and construction around utilities.
