Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Utility Manager to lead utility coordination on hyperscale data center and critical infrastructure projects. The role focuses on identifying conflicts, coordinating with utility owners, managing permits, and supporting protections and relocations.

You will work with engineers, field teams, regulators, and contractors to ensure safe, timely execution across large sites, with extensive travel and site-based responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility coordination, permitting, and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to travel up to 75% nationwide.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of utility plans, regulations, and site access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility coordination across project phases and teams.
• Identify conflicts and coordinate with owners, municipalities, and engineers.
• Support permitting, protection plans, and access requirements.
• Maintain utility logs, documentation, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate relocations and installation activities as needed.
• Participate in site walks and coordination meetings to resolve issues.
