An established industry player is on the lookout for a dedicated Utility Maintenance Technician to join their team in Sharon, PA. Ellwood Crankshaft Group is the world's leading manufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.
Today, ECG has four facilities throughout PA. We are currently seeking a full-time Utility Maintenance Technician for our facility in Sharon, PA and will assist all locations as needed. This non-exempt position may require overtime, weekends and rotating shifts as needed and may also require on-call responsibilities as dictated by business needs.
This position’s primary responsibilities will include completing CNC and manual equipment preventative maintenance schedules by completing fluid, filter and media refreshments. Additionally, the role will be responsible for leading in the operation and set-up of the full-throw fatigue tester at Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine, including, but not limited to, setups and computer interfacing. Full training will be provided for all encompassing areas of the job; however, proven knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required by the successful candidate.
This position will require occasional material handling up to 100 pounds which could include floor lifts, shoulder lifts, overhead lifts, etc. The position will require occasional pushing and pulling material handling up to 50 pounds. The position will require frequent bending, climbing, kneeling and squatting and constant walking, bending and reaching. The physical demand category of this position is heavy.
Technical Training No Cert/Degree or better in Maintenance Mechanical or related field.
