Job summary

GTS is seeking an experienced Utility Locator for Ocala, FL to identify and map the location and depth of utilities such as gas, electrical, water, cable, oil lines, and related infrastructure using field records and blueprints.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating electronic locating equipment, and maintaining detailed logs. Drill head locating is a plus; you will work onsite with the construction team at competitive hourly pay depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints/maps to identify the proper utility, copper, coax, and fiber optic cables.
• Operate GTS electronic locating equipment.
• Maintain required records utilizing laptop computer or other devices.
• Drill head locating would be a plus.

UTILITY LOCATOR/UNDERGROUND GROUND HAND - OCALA, FL

An experienced Utility Locator is responsible for supporting the underground construction efforts by identify and map location and depth of utilities such as gas, electrical, water, cable, oil lines etc.

Requirements

Read blueprints/Maps to identify the proper utility, copper, coax, and fiber optic cables.

Operate GTS electronic locating equipment.

Maintain required records utilizing laptop computer or other devices.

Drill head locating would be a plus.

Hourly rate: $18-$25 D.O.E.
