Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Trainee Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for finding underground utility lines. You will work with experienced locators, use specialized tools, and record findings to help keep construction projects safe and efficient.

As a trainee, you’ll develop skills in locating utilities, marking lines, and operating locating equipment while working in all weather conditions. On-site training supports career growth in a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment.
• Develop understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
