Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Trainee Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for locating underground utility lines. You will work with experienced locators, operate locating equipment, and record findings to help keep construction projects safe and efficient.

You will be trained to understand local utility infrastructure, regulations, and to document findings with digital mapping tools while working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to learn safety procedures and how to operate equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines
• Operate utility locating equipment
• Document findings using digital mapping tools
• Perform work in all weather conditions
