Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground (using paint and flags), promoting damage prevention in your community. We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100% paid training.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. We offer a vehicle with fuel card for daily commute, PTO and paid holidays, safety shoe vouchers, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training provided.
• Must enjoy outdoor work in all weather and environments.
• Ability to problem solve with speed and accuracy.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train to locate underground utilities and read maps.
• Use locate equipment and technology to locate utilities.
• Document tickets and emails using a laptop.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
• Be flexible for on-call shifts and varying schedules.
