Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground using paint and flags, promoting damage prevention in the community. We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100% paid training.

We provide on‑the‑job training, a company vehicle with fuel card, PTO and paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles daily, 2–3 times a week.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety-first approach and on-the-job training.
• Use laptop to receive, document, and process tickets.
• Read maps and interpret blueprints to plan locating.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
