What You’ll Do As a Trainee Locator

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
• Develop understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines
• Operate utility locating equipment
• Document findings using digital mapping tools
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Operate company vehicle safely
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours duties as needed

What You’ll Need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the US
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid State driver’s license (non-provisional) and acceptable MVR

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, perform manual tasks, and work in all weather conditions
• Occasionally work in confined spaces, climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain

Transferable Skills: Facility Maintenance, Technician, route driver, meter reading, landscaping, outdoor work, pest control, surveying, military, underground utility locating, construction, laborer

Salary Range: $20
