What You’ll Do as a Trainee Locator

• Learn utility locating techniques and safety protocols
• Develop understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations
• Partner with experienced locators to mark underground utility lines
• Operate utility locating equipment
• Document findings using digital mapping tools
• Work in all weather conditions
• Operate company vehicle safely
• Perform overtime, travel, and after-hours work as needed

What You’ll Need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the US
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid State driver’s license (no provisional), with acceptable MVR

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, perform physical tasks, and work in all weather conditions
• Occasionally work in confined spaces, climb stairs, and on uneven terrain

Transferable skills include facility maintenance, technician work, route driving, meter reading, landscaping, outdoor work, surveying, military, construction, and laboring.

Salary Range: $20/hour
