Job summary

The Halter Group is seeking an experienced tree trimmer/climber and crew lead to join our Georgia team. You will supervise a tree crew, ensure safety standards, communicate with the foreman, and complete daily reports and paperwork.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, CDL A/B or willingness to obtain, OSHA/First Aid/CPR training, and 2+ years of experience in trimming and climbing. bilingual is a plus, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• CDL is preferred and may be provided assistance to obtain CDL B under DOT rules.
• OSHA, Aerial Rescue, First Aid/CPR training is expected.
• 2+ years experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator.
• Ability to lift and move heavy brush and operate under various weather conditions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a tree crew while performing assigned jobs.
• Communicate with General Foreman daily regarding all aspects of the job.
• Maintain equipment inspection paperwork and daily reports.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; complete timesheets and logs.
• Identify job hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Perform tree trimming and climbing tasks with safety-first mindset.
