Job summary

Georgia Right of Way in Metter, GA is hiring an experienced Utility Line Clearance Tree Trimmer / Bucket Truck Operator. CDL is preferred; if you do not have one, we will assist you in obtaining it.

The role includes working from an aerial lift, trimming and removing trees near power lines, and complying with safety procedures. Full-time with benefits after 90 days; you must pass a drug screen and DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in utility line clearance tree work.
• Willing to obtain CDL-A; ELDT certification assistance provided.
• Able to pass drug screen and DOT physical.
• Able to work 10-hour shifts, overtime, and variable schedule.
• Experience with storm work and removal near energized conductors.

Responsibilities

• Operate from an aerial lift and bucket truck.
• Trim, rope, rig, and remove trees near power lines.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safety prior to use.
• Perform tree climbing using rope and saddle as needed.
• Report to foreman and participate in on-the-job training.
