Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. is seeking a Utility Laborer for our Big Spring, TX location. The role involves performing general labor, signaling equipment operators, erecting sign packages, and moving traffic control devices. Candidates should be prepared to work outdoors, travel as needed, and lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Able to work outside in the elements and wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally performs general laboring duties such as shoveling and raking stone, gravel, earth, and topsoil material.
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Regularly erects, positions, and moves sign packages safely and accurately.
• Move traffic control devices, lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Direct traffic through construction sites using proper equipment and procedures.
• Occasionally lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

About the Role

• Occasionally performs general laboring duties, such as shoveling and raking stone, gravel, earth, and topsoil material.
