Utility Intern – HDR Transportation Business Group

In the role of Utility Intern, HDR will count on you to:

• Gain real‑world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Participate in the design process, developing alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to clients or for agency approval
• Perform other duties as needed

The ideal candidate will commit to working approximately 20 hours per week on‑site, working alongside and receiving mentorship from a licensed engineer. This position does not offer remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed 3 years toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
