What you’ll do as an Inspector

  • Complete high-level tasks supporting an assigned department or project
  • Perform labor-intensive tasks supporting an assigned department or project
  • Complete daily production reports documenting work performed
  • Read, interpret, and input data to support an assigned department or project

What you’ll need

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an acceptable MVR record
  • Experience as a mechanic
  • Ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment necessary for the job

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of telecommunications construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various telecommunications equipment; ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Three or more years of inspection experience

Physical Abilities and Exposures

  • Routinely use hands and fingers for fine motor skills, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms. Must lift 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Outside work environment varies throughout the day.
  • Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance

Starting Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience)
