Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Inspector to oversee construction activities related to water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring installations meet engineering plans, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations, with emphasis on field work and contractor coordination.

Qualifications

Experience inspecting underground utility or civil construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering plans.
Understanding of utility testing procedures and construction quality requirements.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction activities for water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, and telecom projects.
Ensure installations meet engineering plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Document progress and identify issues to protect project timelines.
Communicate with contractors and stakeholders on jobsite status and requirements.
Work outdoors in active construction environments.
