Job summary

The Thrasher Group is seeking a highly motivated Utility Infrastructure Improvement Field Technician for our Bridgeport, WV office. This role involves outdoor fieldwork in various conditions and responsibilities across residential, commercial, and industrial areas.

You will collect field data, use measurement tools, and communicate with property owners and stakeholders. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of outdoor work experience are required; Katapult Pro experience is highly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of outdoor work-related experience.
• Experience with Katapult Pro highly desired.
• Knowledge of pole design including NESC requirements a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Work in outdoor weather conditions year-round across residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
• Perform extensive on-foot fieldwork, including walking, navigating varied terrain, and carrying objects up to 20 pounds.
• Communicate effectively with property owners and internal and external stakeholders.
• Use technology tools for data collection and a telescopic fiberglass measurement stick to accurately measure clearances on utility poles.
• Collect field data and maintain accurate daily and weekly reports.
• Travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
