The Berkshire Gas Company in Greenfield, MA is seeking an energetic laborer to support underground gas facility projects. You will assist with excavation-related tasks, operate heavy equipment, and join on-call emergency responses to gas leaks and related issues.
Required are a high school diploma or GED, a Class B license with a clean record, and the ability to obtain CDL Class A within 18 months, plus DOT and hoisting licenses and residency in the Adams area.

Under the supervision of qualified personnel. perform or assist with utility compliance work on underground gas facilities, may operate excavating equipment and specific company equipment to facilitate the installation and repair of gas mains and services including gas facility mark outs, conducting gas leak investigation and other emergency response during business and outside of normal business hours as an “on-call” first responder. Provides support for other departments as needed.
