Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Utility Worker in Oklahoma City to perform routine cleaning, maintenance and repairs on tanks, drains, grounds and facilities. The role requires basic math, the ability to operate various machinery, and effective communication within a team.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months in a related position. A valid driver's license and pass drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• At least six months experience in a related position and environment preferred.
• Experience with a variety of machinery, vehicles, material handling equipment, hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Utility Worker performs routine cleaning, maintenance and repair to tanks, drains, culverts, grounds, buildings and related structures.
• Must be able to operate specialized machinery for care of roads, grounds, galleries, structures and facilities.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing; follow safety and quality instructions.
• Work well in a team and be willing to take on additional responsibilities.
