Job summary

MasTec Utility Services seeks an OHE Laborer/Groundman to prepare and clean construction sites, remove debris, and assist craft workers on assignments within the Construction team. You will load/unload materials, operate basic equipment, and help ensure safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; CDL Class A is preferred. Applicants should be prepared for field conditions and physical work involved in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits and assist in manually digging.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
• Seed and straw.
