The position requires a driver’s license, ISA certification preferred, and MS Office proficiency. Starting pay is $18.50–$22.00 per hour, with benefits and vacation accrual after initial period.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Identify local trees and vegetation and their growth rates.
• Ability to operate and secure company vehicle and gas card.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation conditions and determine maintenance activities.
• Assist with bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easement and land rights for widths, rights, and restrictions.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation management work.
• Mark work in the field and respond to public questions.
• Assist in development of public relations materials and in managing contractors during storm restoration.
