Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Utility Forester Work Planner to coordinate vegetation management on utility rights-of-way. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, reporting, and project support for maintenance programs.

The position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, with a pay range of $18.50–$22.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Requires valid driver's license and ISA certification preferred; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to identify local trees and vegetation and growth rates.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicle and gas card.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation conditions and determine maintenance needs.
• Assist with bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easement and land rights for widths, rights, and restrictions.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation work.
• Mark work in the field where required.
• Respond to public concerns about the work.
• Support in development of public relations materials.
• Respond to contractor questions on work specs.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with specs.
