Strategic Government Resources, Inc. in Stephenville, TX seeks a City Utility Maintenance worker to perform a wide range of outdoor repair and construction tasks under supervision.

You will work with a crew to maintain water and wastewater systems, operate light and heavy equipment, and respond to emergencies on call. The role requires CDL, water/wastewater licenses, and ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Competenze

• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record.
• English language literacy (read/write/speak).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Respond to emergency calls within 30 minutes.
• CDL required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Possession or ability to obtain water/wastewater licenses.
• Must obtain class 1 wastewater and class C water licenses within 3 years.
• Background check and drug screen.

Mansioni

• Participates in maintenance crews for utility infrastructure and work orders.
• Repairs equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Repair water/wastewater mains and services; excavations and shoring.
• Clean and rebuild manholes; assist hydrant repairs.
• Test lines for leaks; locate lines and connections; lay new lines.
• Repair/read meters; install service taps; flush lines.
• Pull/install meters; replace meter boxes; raise meters and manholes.
• Clean streets; grade drainage; landscape after repairs.
• On-call duty; respond to emergencies as required.
• Assist flagging traffic around work sites.
• Operate light/heavy machinery per safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests during/after hours.
