Job summary

Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO seeks qualified Utility Equipment Operators I–V to maintain and monitor our interceptor sewer system and wastewater treatment facilities. Positions are posted at multiple levels with duties ranging from semi-skilled to senior-level responsibilities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is required for some levels. Comprehensive incentive programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Metro’s interceptor system and wastewater facilities.
• Work under the direction of a Transmission Supervisor.
• Perform transmission training programs.
• Read procedures, SDS precautions and other similar documents.
