AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. is seeking a Technical Coordinator in Denver, CO to lead utility engineering coordination for transportation and infrastructure projects. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, utility owners, clients, and agencies to resolve conflicts and advance project objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 4 years of utility-related experience, with familiarity in SUE and permitting processes. Civil3D/MicroStation skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in utility engineering, utility coordination, transportation infrastructure, or related technical activities.
• Strong understanding of utility systems and project delivery processes.
• Experience interpreting multidisciplinary engineering plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with SUE, permitting, right-of-way, and construction practices.
• Proficiency with engineering software; Civil3D and/or MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate utility engineering and coordination activities for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate and evaluate SUE activities.
• Identify and help resolve utility conflicts across water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric, and telecom systems.
• Prepare and review exhibits, matrices, reports, and project documentation.
• Engage with utility owners, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulators to advance project objectives.
• Lead or support coordination meetings and maintain project records and submittals.
• Assist with relocation planning, permitting, agreements, and cost estimates.
