Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO seeks an Engineer, Utility Engineering and Coordination with 3–5 years of related experience. You will support utility conflicts analysis, prepare base maps, and develop coordination plans across road, drainage, and structural projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and active EIT status, with CAD proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation. Join a team delivering complex infrastructure projects with a focus on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, EIT preferred.
• 3–5 years of utility engineering or coordination experience.
• Experience with utility systems and coordination practices.
• Ability to read multi-disciplinary plans (roadway, drainage, structures, survey, ROW).

Responsibilities

• Support utility conflicts analysis across multiple systems.
• Prepare base maps and exhibits using survey data, SUE and drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations for depth, clearance, offsets.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and takeoffs.
• Interface with clients, subconsultants, and agencies to ensure delivery.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines to integrate designs.
