Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or actively pursuing it.
• 3–5 years of relevant utility engineering/coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of utility systems and infrastructure coordination practices.
• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary plans (roadway, drainage, structures, survey, ROW).
• Familiarity with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) practices and related policies.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Civil 3D and/or MicroStation).
• Strong attention to detail and solid documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, analysis, and resolution of utility conflicts across multiple systems.
• Prepare utility base maps and composite exhibits using survey data and record drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations related to depth, clearance, offsets, and constructability.
• Assist in developing specifications, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs.
• Support utility owners in relocation designs, plans, and profiles.
• Maintain conflict matrices and coordination records; participate in coordination meetings.
