Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a motivated Utility Dispatcher to join our growing team. The role focuses on dispatching truck drivers for pickups at customer locations, ports, and railroads, while ensuring bookings and billings align with customer requirements.

You will manage data entry for planning and communications with terminals, and be prepared to work extended hours to meet customer needs in a fast-paced, intermodal trucking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance.
• Thrives in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Computer Savvy.
• Paid time off, including 10 paid holidays.

Responsibilities

UTILITY DISPATCHER DUTIES:

Coverage for Dispatchers that are out for vacation/leave of absence, yard checks, redelivery validation.

At DCI Dispatchers are the oil that keeps our machine (terminal) running smoothly. If you are an agile individual who can pivot to prioritize to handle sudden route changes or delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities:
