Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a motivated Utility Dispatcher to join our operations team in Texas. You will coordinate truck drivers for pickups at customer locations, ports, and rail yards, and ensure bookings and billings meet client needs.

The role requires DOT regulatory knowledge, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and solid data entry skills. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the trucking and intermodal transportation industry preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance required.
• Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
• Strong data entry and computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch truck drivers for pickups at customer locations, ports, and railroads.
• Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements.
• Enter data in the computer for planning and information.
• Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding customer requests.
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs.
