Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in electric and/or gas design and construction practices.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local rules governing utility construction.
• Strong analytical, planning, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design work for electric and/or gas services or system improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of company standards, tariffs and regulations for cost-effective designs.
• Create and deliver preliminary estimates and contracts.
• Identify customer needs for electric/gas projects and coordinate with developers and utilities.
• Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders from project start to finish.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and assist in after-hours support as needed.
