Job summary

Purolator Inc. at the Richmond Depot is seeking a Utility Courier to pick up and deliver packages, supporting daily schedules and assisting other couriers as needed.

Requirements include a valid Class 5 license with three years of driving experience and a clean record. The pay starts at $22.12 per hour under the collective agreement, with increases to $25.07 after 4 months and up to $37.38 after 4 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate with accuracy on road duties and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules.
• Scan packages as received or delivered and at depot end of day.
• Resolve on-road issues with Dispatch and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Advise unit manager if inspections fail.
