Brazos Paving, Inc. – Underground Wet Utility Superintendent

Brazos Paving, Inc. is seeking an Underground Wet Utility Superintendent with large diameter pipe experience (12" and larger) to work for an established sitework construction company in Bryan, TX. The role involves installing domestic water, sanitary sewer, and storm drains for a variety of clients including municipalities, commercial sites, apartment complexes, college campuses, and airports.

Position Summary

Responsible for managing on‑site safety, operations, and installation of sewer, water, and storm drain projects; directing and training field personnel; and demonstrating effective communication with project managers, superintendents, and governing agencies to ensure on‑time and on‑budget productivity. Oversee multiple job sites, maintain current project status, resolve issues, and build strong customer relationships through responsive service, reliability, and quality work.

Qualifications

• Specific experience in underground utility construction.
• Experience in removal, installation, and repair of underground wet utility pipelines and structures.
• Experienced safety monitor with full understanding of confined space and trench safety standards.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specs accurately.
• Ability to control labor, material, supply, and equipment cost to assure job completion on schedule and within budget.
• Assure only required amounts of sand, gravel, and other materials are used on the job; plan and monitor work to prevent waste.
• Plan weekly job activities to determine crew needs; schedule material deliveries and equipment in advance.
• Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other trades on the job site.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings.
