Job summary

On Target is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety programs at a fast-growing utility construction company serving the Northeast. Location: Gardiner, ME, with extensive travel and flexible overtime requirements.

The role requires a BS/MS in safety engineering or related field, 4-6 years in a corporate safety setting, and strong communication skills. Certification such as CSP/CUSP/CIH is preferred, with duties including policy development, training, audits, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in safety engineering or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years in corporate safety or leadership role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, practices, and training.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards; conduct audits and investigations.
• Coordinate safety reporting and incident analysis with management.
• Provide risk assessment and training to field teams.
• Communicate safety expectations across units and promote safety culture.
