ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant installation support on utility construction sites. The role requires operating equipment (drill, hydro, mini, bucket truck) and performing general labor with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience of one of the following (Drill, Hydro, Mini, Bucket Truck) required
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a company vehicle strongly preferred
• Class A CDL License strongly preferred
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required)
• High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor on site in all weather conditions.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks such as loading/unloading trucks, taking photos, setting up cones and traffic signs.
• Operates one or more heavy equipment (drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with limited guidance.
• Meets production expectations set by foreman or management.
• Under training, reads prints and construction drawings; basic utility location under supervision.
• Ensures safety culture and practices; participates in pre-task and safety assessments.
• Provides training and support to entry level laborers to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested.
