Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant installation support on utility construction sites. The Laborer II operates equipment such as drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, or bucket truck while maintaining a strong safety focus and a customer-centric mindset.

Candidates should have 1+ year of utility construction experience, 6+ months equipment operation, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience on drill, hydro, mini, or bucket truck.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications preferred (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor on outdoor sites under various weather conditions.
• Supports crew with site setup, unload/load, photos, cones and traffic signs, and other tasks.
• Operates heavy equipment (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with guidance.
• Reads prints and construction drawings.
• Maintains safety practices and participates in pre-task safety assessments.
