Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services, dBA InterCon/Five Star Energy Services/M&C Utility is seeking skilled equipment operators to perform underground utility installation and maintenance work in Wisconsin. You will operate rubber tire tractors and other heavy machinery, read blueprints, locate utilities, and assist with general labor tasks as needed.

A Class A CDL, willingness to travel, and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CDL Class A required.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods.
• Lift/push/pull 20+ pounds regularly.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience operating rubber tire tractor.
• Experience operating other machines (backhoes, skid loaders, dozers, sidebooms, vibratory plow) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
• Locate underground utility services prior to work.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Utilize machines for placement/removal of dirt/debris.
• Use machinery to guide and install pipe and cable.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with Laborer jobs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
