The University of Richmond is seeking a part-time custodian/food service helper who will wash and organize service ware, pots, pans, and utensils and assist in cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing the kitchen, dining areas, and serving spaces.
This essential position requires standing and walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in hot, humid, or cold conditions, with a rotating weekend schedule and starting pay of 16.20 per hour.
Job Description
This is a continuous recruitment position.
Washes and organizes service ware, pots, pans, and utensils; and assists in general clean up, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen, serving areas, and dining rooms.
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs., in conditions that are often, hot, humid, or cold. Must be able to safely use and operate typical kitchen tools and equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, on occasion.
