Job Description

SUMMARY:

Washes and organizes service ware, pots, pans, and utensils; assists in general clean-up, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen, serving areas, and dining rooms.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: This position requires long periods of standing and walking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. in conditions that are often hot, humid, or cold. Must be able to safely use and operate typical kitchen tools and equipment. Occasionally, work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

WORK HOURS:

• Part-time, non-exempt position
• Schedule varies; rotating weekends
• Designated as essential personnel; required to be available during inclement weather and emergencies

SALARY:

Pay Grade 1, starting at $16.20 per hour
